The Employee & Labor Relations Specialist is responsible for managing Employee Relations cases for designated workforce group(s). Management of Employee Relations includes, but is not limited to, assistance with complex employment policy interpretation, workforce grievances, and advising management on discipline. The specialist uses standard tools, processes, and guidelines to research/investigate concerns, identify policy violations, and evaluate findings to ensure consistent and appropriate actions. The ER LR specialist manages assigned cases to ensure resolution within defined time periods, accuracy, quality standards, and customer satisfaction, adhering to established standards and guidelines.

In particular, the ER LR Specialist manages Employee and Labor Relations matters for a designated legal entity to ensure timely resolution of service requests within SLA, aiming to increase customer satisfaction.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Support Labor / Employee Relations Cluster Leader to provide high-level service to employees, HR community, and business leaders.
  • Collaborate with HR business partners and stakeholders on employee and labor relations topics.
  • Serve as the first contact for HR, providing guidance on policy inquiries and employee issues.
  • Provide employee relations support, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance counseling.
  • Communicate policy updates to HR, business, and employees.
  • Support labor relations activities such as information sharing, consultation, and negotiations.
  • Explain complex company and governmental rules and ensure compliance.
  • Assist in investigating and resolving employee grievances.
  • Coordinate responses to complaints.
  • Support D&A projects and RIF processes.
  • Help the Cluster Leader achieve KPIs and metrics through data analysis and reporting.
  • Share best practices and development opportunities with ERLR teams.
  • Coordinate with external law firms and legal departments regarding employment issues and legal fees.
  • Participate in EMEA ERLR community activities, workshops, projects, and training.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of HR experience in an international environment, focusing on Employee and Labor Relations and HR Generalist roles (multisector experience preferred).
  • Knowledge of employment and labor laws, regulations, and practices.
  • Expertise in policies and procedures.
  • Strong logical and tactical thinking skills.
  • Experience reading, understanding, and acting on KPIs and SLAs.
  • Ability to diagnose, resolve complex issues, and implement strategies.
  • Enthusiastic team player with a drive to foster a positive work environment.
  • Influence skills without authority.
  • Proficiency in English for HR activities (calls, training, communications).
  • Good knowledge of MS Office tools and platforms.
  • University degree in Law.
