Gruppo Lactalis Italia is seeking an HSE Specialist to join the HSE function for the Castelli BU, supporting Garbagna Novarese, Abbiategrasso and Carbonara al Ticino plants. You will help manage the HSE System, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive safety and environmental initiatives across sites.

You will collaborate with plant directors, external consultants, and HR to update risk assessments, train personnel, and implement preventive measures, while coordinating audits and contractor

Competenze

• Degree in Safety Engineering, Environmental Engineering or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Legislative Decree 81/2008 risk assessment methodologies and DPR 152/06.
• Proficient in English; French is a plus.
• Excellent MS Office and data processing skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and teamwork.
• Ability to manage cross-functional projects and show proactivity.

Gruppo Lactalis Italia is looking for an HSE Specialist to be included in the HSE function of the Castelli BU, for the plants in Garbagna Novarese (NO), Abbiategrasso (MI) and Carbonara al Ticino (PV). The resource, reporting to the HSE Manager, will be responsible for supporting the management of Health, Safety & Environment activities on the production sites of competence, ensuring compliance with current legislation and company procedures. In particular, they will deal with:

• Supporting the Group HSE/RSPP in the management and development of the HSE Management System, ensuring its implementation, monitoring and continuous improvement, also through the use and updating of dedicated company software;
• Ensuring compliance with legislation on health, safety and environment (Legislative Decree 81/08, Legislative Decree 152/06) and company procedures at all sites of competence;
• Collaborating with plant directors and managers in supervising and applying HSE policies and standards, promoting the dissemination of a culture of safety and environmental sustainability;
• Supporting the updating of the Risk Assessment Document (DVR) and other specific assessments, collaborating with external consultants, Competent Doctor, RLS and competent bodies;
• Developing and updating procedures, operating instructions and prevention and protection measures in collaboration with production, maintenance and technical functions;
• Managing personnel training, information and instruction processes, including HSE onboarding programs for new hires and external personnel, ensuring compliance with training obligations and health surveillance;
• Supporting the management, distribution and supervision of personal protective equipment (PPE);
• Managing and monitoring HSE events, including injuries, incidents and near misses, analyzing their causes and defining the relevant corrective and preventive actions;
• Coordinating and supporting activities related to the management of contracts and construction sites, preparing the necessary documentation (DUVRI), verifying the requirements of external companies and collaborating with specialized consultants;
• Monitoring environmental compliance, including waste management, emissions and discharges, ensuring the correct keeping of authorization and operational documentation (e.g. waste forms, AUA and environmental records);
• Carrying out internal audits, checks and inspections at production departments and suppliers, ensuring compliance with company standards and identifying opportunities for improvement;
• Interfacing with company functions, external consultants and control bodies (ASL, VVF and other competent bodies) to ensure the correct supervision of HSE issues.

REQUIRED REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in Safety Engineering, Environmental Engineering or equivalent;
• Professional experience of at least 2 years in a similar position;
• Excellent knowledge of Legislative Decree 81/2008 methodologies and tools for risk assessment, necessary prevention and protection measures and Legislative Decree 152/06;
• Excellent knowledge of the English language, knowledge of French is considered a plus;
• Excellent command of the Office package and data processing skills;
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong aptitude for teamwork;
• Ability to manage cross-functional projects;
• Proactivity and autonomy.
