On behalf of a leading European company in the oil & gas and industrial plant sector, operating in more than 30 countries with 3,500 employees worldwide, we are looking for:

HSE MANAGER (Ref. RM-1D18E)

The role holder reports directly to the Managing Director and functionally to the projects/construction sites Technical Directorate and the Group QHSE Manager. The HSE Manager's task is to promote a sustainable HSE culture, ensuring the safety and health of employees and collaborators at company offices and construction sites across Europe and the Mediterranean. The activities involve collaboration with approximately fifteen internal team members.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for Health and Safety at the Workplace (RSPP) according to Legislative Decree 81/2008 and updates.
• Develop, implement, and manage HSE systems in line with ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 standards.
• Develop strategies for sustainable development and conduct audits to assess HSE performance.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulations and standards.
• Identify and assess risks, implement measures for safety and health, and develop training programs.
• Organize education and training on risk prevention, emergency procedures, and safety norms.
• Develop training programs on health, safety, and environmental management.
• Oversee protective measures, emergency response planning, incident analysis, and reporting.
• Support HSE compliance in tender and project management, maintain records, and conduct audits.
• Investigate incidents, analyze non-compliances, and develop corrective actions.
• Assess environmental impacts and risks, and support business units through audits.
• Participate in company security management meetings and international working groups.

Education and Qualifications:

Legal requirement: RSPP certification with ATECO classifications for sectors SP2, SP4, B3, B4. Preferably a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering or related fields, with additional specialization or master’s in Occupational Safety and Health and Environmental Management Systems.

Languages:

• Fluent in English
• Fluent in French

Experience:

Minimum 10 years in similar roles within large/medium companies, with complex structures, working on construction sites domestically and internationally, especially in civil engineering, oil & gas, offshore refineries, and energy sectors. Strong experience with ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 management systems. Excellent interpersonal and diplomatic skills for relation-building at all levels.

Compensation and Location:
