This role focuses on implementing legal safety provisions and minimizing operational risks across multiple production plants. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in safety compliance within complex organizational structures.

• 10 or more years of experience in a similar role in complex organizations.
• Experience in the chemical/pharmaceutical field.

We are looking for an HSE Manager within the Quality department.

The aim of the role is to guarantee the implementation of legal provisions regarding safety in the workplace and environment. The activities include:

1. Carrying out all necessary activities to ensure compliance, especially activities such as information, training, and prevention programs, with the goal of preventing industrial injuries or environmental risks.
2. Minimizing the probability of injuries and environmental accidents by building a culture of proactive prevention and safety at all levels and in all functions.
3. Supervising related activities in Gnosis By Lesaffre BU production plants (S. Antonino, Pisticci, and Bagnolo Mella).
4. Providing functional HSE support to Public Authorities.
5. Working with the RSSPs of the production plants to develop safety procedures and action plans to prevent injuries, fires, and ensure compliance with environmental legislation.
6. Updating records of laws and regulations concerning production activities related to safety, environment, and health.
7. Collecting and updating documentation about industrial and environmental authorizations, occupational health, tests, fire compliance, and other regulated aspects.
8. Supporting Top Management in dealings with public authorities during authorization controls and development of new investments.
9. Preparing safety reports to keep Top Management and the Group informed.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology, Biotechnology, or similar.
• 10 or more years of experience in a similar role within companies with complex organizational structures in the chemical/pharmaceutical field.
