A leading company in energy and infrastructure is seeking an HR Training and Competence Officer for Offshore projects. The successful candidate will manage training programs and compliance for the Drilling Fleet, ensuring that all personnel meet industry standards. Ideal for candidates with a degree in Human Resources and relevant experience in international environments. Strong communication and adaptability skills are essential.

Competenze

  • Proficiency in English is mandatory; additional languages like French or Portuguese are a plus.
  • 2-3 years of HR activity management experience in an international setting.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with data analysis applications.

HR TRAINING AND COMPETENCE OFFICER – OFFSHORE

As International HR Training and Competence Officer - Offshore, you will join our Corporate Staff in the Development & Learning Department, conducting the following activities :

ACTIVITIES

  • Training of resources assigned to the Drilling Fleet in line with national, international, company and Main Contract requirements.
  • Periodical verification of training records of assigned Vessels by liaising with relevant stakeholders (Training Center, Business, Shipboard Personnel).
  • Launch of dedicated training campaigns through internal / external providers, as required.
  • Monitoring and Reporting.
  • Support / governance for the correct implementation of defined regulatory instruments onboard vessels and peripheral entities.
  • Coordination of onboarding and familiarization of new entrants during crew-up / start-up for the dedicated vessels, also supporting the relevant overseas departments, as necessary.
  • Support to the Department Manager for corrective actions plans implementation / management and deriving from rig intake, maritime audits, port state control inspections / any verification carried out locally.

REQUIREMENTS

QUALIFICATION : Degree in Sciences and Maritime Activities Management, Maritime Economy and Management or Legal / Human Resources University.

KNOWLEDGE OF LANGUAGES : Proficiency in English is a mandatory requirement. Knowledge of French, Portuguese or Arabic will be considered an additional asset.

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE : 2-3 years of experience in managing HR activities (training), particularly in international environment.

IT SKILLS : Excellent knowledge of MS Office. Nice to have : Power BI and other Office 365 applications for management and data analysis.

SOFT SKILLS : Curiosity, autonomy, flexibility, critical ability, attitude to the study of maritime regulations. Teambuilding and adaptability.

Willingness to occasionally travel abroad is required
