Responsibilities :

• Be the sole HR representative in the ESET Italy office, independently managing all HR areas and serving as the primary contact for employees and managers.
• Design and implement local HR strategies across recruitment, employer branding, employee relations and engagement, performance management, compensation, benefits, and learning & development.
• Collaborate with global HR teams to implement strategies, policies, and activities, ensuring alignment with local labor laws.
• Support and advise local leadership and employees on workforce issues, providing guidance and tools for effective management.
• Manage the full employee lifecycle from recruitment and onboarding to performance management, development, and offboarding, ensuring compliance with Italian labor laws.
• Oversee HR operations including payroll coordination, contract management, data accuracy in Workday, reporting, and budget planning related to headcount, benefits, and promotions.
• Promote internal communication, organize or support team activities, and contribute to global CSR initiatives to foster an inclusive workplace culture.

Ideal Candidate :

• At least 5 years of experience in a similar HR role.
• Comprehensive experience with the employee lifecycle and HR functions (hiring, budgeting, recruitment, L&D, C&B).
• Strong knowledge of current labor legislation, practices, and policies.
• Experience handling complex employee issues with rational decision-making.
• Fluent in English (C1 level) and native Italian.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, positive attitude, and ability to build relationships at all levels.
• Ability to work under pressure with competing priorities.
• Strong influencing and negotiation skills.
