About the Role :
We are looking for an HR Specialist to support the foundation and growth of our human infrastructure during the startup phase and beyond.
The selected candidate will play a central role in designing our talent strategy , shaping internal policies, coordinating early recruitment, and supporting the creation of a future-oriented and human-centered workplace culture.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement early-stage HR processes and documentation
- Manage recruitment campaigns for strategic roles (C-level, tech, creative, academic)
- Support the setup of contracts, onboarding, and remote / hybrid policies
- Maintain records related to confidentiality, NDAs, and compensation frameworks
- Help define performance metrics and organizational structure
- Assist the CEO and founding team in defining a long-term HR and benefits model
- Liaise with legal, payroll, and regulatory professionals (Italy / EU / US)
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Human Resources or Talent Acquisition
- Understanding of labor law and HR compliance (Italy or EU)
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Experience in early-stage environments or multidisciplinary teams
- Fluency in English and Italian (spoken and written)
- Proactive, reliable, and able to work autonomously
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in international HR frameworks (remote teams, hybrid structures)
- Familiarity with welfare, equity plans, or cultural transformation models
- Sensitivity to diversity, mental health, and workplace inclusion
- Motivation to grow into a long-term leadership position
