A multinational company is looking for an HR Manager to oversee operations across U.S. and Canada. The role involves ensuring compliance with local employment regulations, managing HR processes, and driving employee engagement initiatives. Ideal candidates have proven HR experience and a strong background in employee relations and conflict resolution. This position is based in Zola Predosa, Italy.

Descrizione del lavoro

Responsible to oversee the full spectrum of HR operations across the U.S. and Canada, balancing strategic partnership and hands‑on execution. The role ensures compliance with local employment regulations while supporting business goals and employee engagement through effective HR management, administration, and process improvement.

HR Management Processes
  • Serve as primary HR advisor to managers on employee relations, performance issues, conflict resolution and acts as liaison between local requirement and corporate directives.
  • Prepare the annual personnel HR cost budget and forecast in line with HR deadlines and guidelines
  • Monitor labor cost variances monthly and recommend corrective measures to ensure budget adherence.
  • Administer compensation programs : merit increases, bonuses, salary reviews in line with HR corporate guidelines and oversee employee benefits such as health, retirement, leave plans etc.
  • Promote engagement and retention initiatives, support development of leadership and growth opportunities.
  • Lead onboarding of new hires and manage offboarding
HR Administration, Compliance & HRIS
  • Manage individual employment contracts and all legal aspects related to current and former employee as well as payroll operations for U.S. states and Canadian provinces
  • Ensure compliance with federal / state / provincial labor, tax, health & safety, and privacy laws.
  • Manage HRIS data integrity : updating employee status, tracking changes, ensuring accuracy and generating regular and ad‑hoc HR reports
  • Implement policy updates and employee handbook revisions in response to legal / regulatory changes aligned with HR corporate framework
Project & Continuous Improvement
  • Identify inefficiencies in HR processes and propose improvements (automation, simplification).
  • Lead or support HR-wide projects : system upgrades, policy harmonization, benefits programs redesign.
  • Monitor HR metrics / KPIs and recommend corrective actions where needed
