A leading luxury hotel is seeking an HR Manager to oversee all HR functions, enhance organizational performance, and ensure compliance with policies. The ideal candidate will have experience in hospitality HR, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in both Italian and English.

Overview : The HR Manager is the sole employee in the HR Department, reporting directly to the GM. This role is responsible for all administrative and employee relations functions within HR and supports the General Director in strategic, organizational, and operational people matters for a luxury hotel property. The role aims to enhance organizational performance through quality recruitment, development, engagement, performance management, rewards, recognition, and compliance with HR policies and procedures.

Responsibilities
  1. Manage applications: post vacancies, conduct interviews, and recruit suitable candidates in accordance with policies and procedures, in collaboration with Heads of Departments (HoDs).
  2. Onboarding: personally welcome new hires, complete necessary paperwork efficiently, coordinate start dates with relevant departments, and ensure uniform and fingerprint procedures are arranged.
  3. Maintain employee records: ensure each employee has a complete file, compile and update records, and manage employee and payroll data in systems.
  4. Manage leave and payroll: track vacation and sick leave, handle payroll efficiently each month for employees and daily workers.
  5. HR administration: ensure compliance with Aman policies and local requirements, supervise payroll services, and keep employee communication boards updated.
  6. Facility management: oversee locker rooms and cafeteria in collaboration with Housekeeping and the Executive Chef.
  7. Organize social activities for employees.
  8. Ensure all team members are certified and qualified per governmental guidelines.
  9. Handle employee requests related to HR issues, rules, and regulations.
  10. Update internal and corporate reports.
  11. Conduct exit interviews for departing employees.
  12. Coordinate with outsourcing agencies, lawyers, and labor consultants.
  13. Manage mandatory and elective training programs.
Qualifications
  • At least two years of experience in the hospitality industry within an HR department, with a comprehensive understanding of HR activities and processes.
  • Proficiency in Italian and English is mandatory.
  • Excellent communication skills are required.
