Role Overview :

We seek an entrepreneurial HR Manager to establish and lead our HR function. This is a unique opportunity to shape our company culture, spearhead hiring, coordinate compensation plans, and design growth-oriented HR policies. Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop and implement HR policies that match our startup culture and comply with Italian labor laws.
  • Manage recruiting and onboarding, ensuring a smooth, engaging experience for all new hires.
  • Drive performance reviews, training programs, and career development plans to empower our growing team.
  • Oversee payroll (in partnership with an external provider), benefits, and welfare initiatives.
  • Champion a vibrant company culture, supporting engagement, teamwork, and professional growth.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team on strategic HR initiatives that align with business goals.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Psychology, or an HR related field.
  • 5+ years of HR experience, preferably in a startup or scale-up context; biotech / life sciences is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of Italian labor laws, recruitment, and HR administration.
  • Fluent in Italian and English, with excellent communication skills.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and passion for building HR processes and culture from scratch.
