About the Company

Our client is a dynamic, fast-growing player in the global automotive industry. With a commitment to innovation and sustainability, the company is expanding rapidly across Europe. As part of this growth journey, they are seeking a dedicated and experienced HR Manager to lead the Italian market operations.

Position Summary

The HR Manager will take full ownership of the Human Resources function in Italy, ensuring HR excellence in compliance, operations, and talent strategy. You will work closely with local leadership and the global HR team to build and nurture a high-performing, engaged, and values-driven workforce.

Key Responsibilities

  • HR Setup & Compliance : Design and implement HR policies and procedures aligned with Italian labor law and Group standards. Lead payroll setup and administration, coordinating with external providers and internal finance teams.
  • Talent Acquisition & Onboarding : Manage end-to-end recruitment for all roles (frontline to senior management) in collaboration with the Corporate Talent Acquisition Team. Create and deliver a seamless, structured onboarding experience for new hires.
  • Performance & Development : Implement performance management systems and individual development plans. Coordinate with global L&D teams to bring learning programs to the local team.
  • Employee Engagement & Culture : Champion engagement and inclusion initiatives that reflect the company's values of Respect, Empowerment, and Excellence. Serve as a strategic HR partner to managers and employees, promoting a culture of transparency and accountability.
  • Operational HR Support : Provide daily HR support including employee relations, grievance handling, and disciplinary processes. Maintain accurate HR records and ensure timely HR reporting and analytics.

Candidate Profile

Required Qualifications & Experience : Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree preferred). Minimum 6 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial role. Deep knowledge of Italian labor law, HR practices, and compliance requirements. Proven success in a startup, scale-up, or greenfield environment is a strong advantage. Fluent in Italian and English.
