Role Overview:

We seek an entrepreneurial HR Manager to establish and lead our HR function. This is a unique opportunity to shape our company culture, spearhead hiring, coordinate compensation plans, and design growth-oriented HR policies. Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement HR policies that match our startup culture and comply with Italian labor laws.
2. Manage recruiting and onboarding, ensuring a smooth, engaging experience for all new hires.
3. Drive performance reviews, training programs, and career development plans to empower our growing team.
4. Oversee payroll (in partnership with an external provider), benefits, and welfare initiatives.
5. Champion a vibrant company culture, supporting engagement, teamwork, and professional growth.
6. Collaborate with the leadership team on strategic HR initiatives that align with business goals.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Psychology, or an HR related field.
2. 5+ years of HR experience, preferably in a startup or scale-up context; biotech/life sciences is a plus.
3. Strong knowledge of Italian labor laws, recruitment, and HR administration.
4. Fluent in Italian and English, with excellent communication skills.
5. Entrepreneurial spirit and passion for building HR processes and culture from scratch.
