Descrizione del lavoro

Octagon Professionals is seeking a highly organized and proactive individual to assist in the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department at ESRIN, located in Frascati, Italy. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth implementation of HR policies and procedures while supporting ESA's talented and diverse workforce.

Working closely with the Local HR Manager, you will play an integral part in delivering HR services, from managing the annual dedicated budget, to coordinating internal HR communication and supporting events.

Please, be aware that the successful candidate will be employed by Octagon Professionals .

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

  • Manage the annual dedicated budget, including definition and reviews (actual vs. plan);
  • Prepare and coordinate the local HR communication;
  • Support HR and site events, including related purchase orders;
  • Coordinate and develop local services (e.g. medical service, school bus, childcare);
  • Support newcomers and existing staff with their integration in the host country. This includes the maintenance of the related Intranet pages;
  • Organise ESA staff celebration events falling geographically under the Local HR Manager;
  • Assist with other administrative local HR tasks as required.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Public Administration, Human Resources, Finance, Informatics, Engineering, or a related field;
  • At least 4 years of relevant experience;
  • Familiarity with Italian public administration procedures;
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office / Office 365 applications (mainly Word, Excel and related) and Adobe Acrobat;
  • Basic knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors (EC module);
  • Candidates must be eligible to work in the EU;
  • Discipline, professionalism and excellent attention to detail;
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken;
  • Fluency in Italian, both written and spoken.
