NBCUniversal seeks an HR Generalist for a temporary position in Milan to support the Olympic Games. The role involves HR operations, local employment regulations, and collaboration with US and EU HR teams. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Italian labor laws and must be fluent in both Italian and English.
NBC the Home of the Olympics in the United States owns the exclusive U.S. media rights to the Olympic Games through 2032 which includes Milan Cortina 2026.
This fulltime temporary position will at first support NBC Olympics Bureau office at a location to be confirmed within the Milan region. Leading up to gamestime the HR Generalist will then be expected to work out of the International Broadcast Center (IBC) in support of all HR matters within the region in partnership with the NBC Olympic HR Team. The successful candidate must have a foundational knowledge base of the Italian labor market work rules employment laws and regulations. This position will report to the VP Human Resources based in the US with support from the EU based HR Director. The HR Generalist will work in close partnership with the NBC Olympic Operations team to establish our operation on the ground. The position will begin in April 2025 for an approximate 12month assignment. Candidates are generally responsible for their own housing.
