The Company

The Position

Within the framework of executive projects, you will supervise and manage expatriates and locally hired personnel, ensuring compliance with local laws and adherence to standards and policies set by the Group. The position is based in Milan, with potential secondment abroad to project sites or branches.

Activities and Main Responsibilities

  1. Monitor HR reports and metrics for the management team, ensuring fair and legal application of local labor terms and conditions.
  2. Plan workforce needs, addressing vacancies through re-assignments or recruitment of key positions.
  3. Support Milan HQ in managing expatriates and locally hired personnel, ensuring legal compliance.
  4. Manage local payroll processes, including timesheets and expense reports.
  5. Negotiate salary and employment contracts with candidates.
  6. Initiate hiring paperwork and necessary legal or immigration documentation to meet company and country requirements.
  7. Assist employees with HR queries during their service period.
  8. Provide advice on compensation, benefits, and policy applications, such as incentives and salary reviews.

Person Specification

Your skills and qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics or Humanities; a postgraduate Master in HR is a strong plus.
  • 2-4 years of HR experience, preferably in a multinational environment and staffing roles.
  • Strong generalist HR knowledge and cross-cultural awareness.
  • Availability for international relocation and adaptability to a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English.
