We are currently seeking an HR Director for Southern Europe to partner with the business and be responsible for over 4000 employees. Responsibilities will span a range of HR functions and focus on aligning strategic objectives with human capital strategies, especially for senior and mid-level leadership.
Participate in developing organizational plans as a strategic partner, considering their impact on people. Translate business plans into HR strategies and operational plans.
Evaluate and advise on long-term planning, new programs, strategies, and regulatory actions affecting attraction, motivation, development, and retention.
Partner with Centers of Excellence (COEs) such as Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Diversity & Inclusion, and Learning & Development to develop effective strategies.
Develop, implement, and enforce HR policies, programs, tools, and technology strategies for effective management of organizational human resources.
Stay informed on global and local HR policies, laws, and issues, understanding the differences between domestic and international policies, and coordinate their integration.
Maintain knowledge of legal requirements related to employee management to reduce legal risks and ensure compliance, partnering with the legal department as needed.
Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to managers, including coaching, counseling, career development, and disciplinary actions.
Work closely with management and employees to improve relationships, boost morale, and increase retention.
Co-lead the relationship between Johnson Controls and the European Works Council.
