Has experienced significant growth as we strengthen our impact in hematology-oncology and establish a strong foothold in Dermatology. To maximize our ability to SolveOn, we are creating a new position in the Italian organization as Associate Director Human Resource to support the Italian team in its development and growth phase.

Summary

The mission of this Human Resource position is the design and the implementation of all HR infrastructure, processes, operational guidelines, and administration for the assigned region (Italy). Other regions may be added to this position. It is an office-based HR Generalist role with a HR Business Partner component.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Build and strengthen the HR infrastructure needed to support the assigned client groups.
  • Manage all employment & HR legal matters within country legislations and company policies.
  • Manage all employee life-cycle administration from hiring (employment contracts) to exit (termination).
  • Be the HR contact person for all employees within the region.
  • Manage recruitment processes, including selection, interviews, and decision-making.
  • Perform local onboarding of new employees.
  • Handle local employee benefits administration and act as the first contact for related questions.
  • Liaise with labor professionals and payroll providers.
  • Develop and implement organizational policies in line with “il modello”.
  • Organize and coordinate local employee-related events.
  • Develop and retain talents aligned with business strategy.
  • Promote a productive, empowered, flexible, and supportive culture.
  • Guide local management on HR matters such as talent development and performance management.
  • Manage annual performance processes, including incentives and merit reviews.
  • Monitor local compensation market trends and provide inputs to global practices.
  • Manage the company car fleet and mobile phone providers.
  • Oversee facilities, safety activities, and office maintenance in Milan.
  • Manage ESG reporting to meet global obligations.
  • Maintain employee records respecting local legislation and data privacy.
  • Contribute to regional HR projects as instructed.
  • Uphold a culture of integrity and ethics, acting within legal and company guidelines.
Requirements
  • Good understanding of HR practices in Italy.
  • 5-7 years HR experience in a multinational environment; pharmaceutical experience is a plus.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit to build HR structure.
  • Flexible, strategic, and administrative skills.
  • Highly computer-literate and process-oriented.
  • Ability to work under pressure, creative, open-minded, and self-learner.
  • Excellent communication skills in Italian & English.
  • Willingness to travel regularly to Region Europe HQ.
