This is a full-time position open to individuals belonging to the 'Categorie Protette' (protected categories) according to Articles 1 and 18 of Law 68/99 (legge 68/99).

In this role, you will be responsible for HR administration for employees in Italy.

As the People (HR) function at BSI undergoes a transformative phase, your role within the People Advisory team will be pivotal in guiding and supporting our workforce.

This role aims to provide a positive colleague experience and efficient service to our stakeholders and the business. It aligns with BSI's future focus and culture while contributing to the setup and improvement of localized processes and policies.

Collaborating within the wider People function, this role will deliver a consistent, industry-aligned service. You will identify and address policy gaps, support the development of improved procedures, and ensure compliance with local employment law in partnership with the People Services Team leader and the People Partner.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality People Services administration in accordance with service level agreements and statutory/business expectations.
  • Manage administration tasks supporting People team activities, including onboarding, offboarding, transfers, and maintaining Workday records.
  • Resolve Tier 1 People Services queries promptly and effectively, escalating when necessary.
  • Ensure GDPR compliance and proper maintenance of colleague records for accurate and timely reporting.
  • Support, coach, and guide Managers and colleagues in using Workday and other systems.
  • Deliver high standards of People Services, supporting the Colleague Lifecycle processes.

Skills and Experience:

  • Strong HR administration/coordination experience is essential.
  • Experience with Italian employment law and HR in Italy is required.
  • HR advisory experience is advantageous.
  • Fluency in Italian is mandatory.
  • Experience working within a pressurized, commercial environment.
  • High standards of accuracy, quality, efficiency, and a strong service ethic.
  • Proactive, enthusiastic team player and relationship builder.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with active listening.
  • Relevant education or training in HR, business administration, or related fields.
