Within HR department, the HR Business Partner will report to the HR Director and work closely with the HR other functions.
He / shewill contribute to foster and maintain employee relationships through coaching, advising and negotiating in complex situations and assisting in organizational effectiveness efforts.
He / she will deliver HR solutions in several key areas, including recruitment and hiring, internal mobility, employee relations, performance management, labor law compliance, HR operations, skill development and training.
The role will be based in Milan Head office, travels are required for the assigned boutiques in the perimeter of Italy and Greece.
He / she will also liaise with the central European and Middle East HR teams as well as with the Group HR.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
General HR
- Work closely and build relations with all stakeholders and staff in a business partner role
- Collaborate with the managers to ensure transparency and clarity of communication with all HR subjects, holding regular meeting to discuss ongoing situations
- Embed best practice in people management across the network, assisting managers in operating effective HR strategies for their area of responsibility
- Ensure the on boarding and off boarding activities are maintained consistently
- Completead-hoc reports for all HR related functions as and when required
- Ensure timely communication of staff movements to relevant departments (. IT, Finance, benefits providers
- Be aware and confident in managing the headcount and personnel costs compared the authorized budget
- Actively participate in and take ownership of cross-functional HR projects
- Be an engaged member of international HR communities
Recruitment
- Collect and evaluate the recruitment needs of the Stores and communicate to Talent Acquisition team the open positions
- Support the full recruitment process, developing and updating consistent job descriptions and people specifications
- Promote and facilitate internal mobility in line with Group policy
- Participate in interviews with the relevant line managers
- Process and communicate job offers and follow up with correct background checks
Talent Management
- Coordinate and participate in the annual performance review process for non-managers and liaise with the L&D Manager to build development plans
- Participate in talent review discussions and more generally contribute to reflections on team structures and needs
- Conduct interviews for key events in an employee's lifecycle (promotions, end of probation period, departure or return from long leave,
- Listen to employees’ career development and mobility aspirations and support them in their projects in coordination with the Managers.
Employee Relations
- Visit the stores regularly being approachable and reliable to employees and management
- Always maintain a high level of confidentiality and make employees aware that the HR function is to ensure the better management of staff for the enhancement of their career and of Hermès.
PROFILE
- Bachelor’s and master’s degree preferably in Humanistic, Psychology Sciences, Law or Economics
- Minimum 5 years of experience in retail and / or high quality and dynamic industry
- Strong skills in high volume employee relations, talent development, recruiting and performance management
- Exceptional relationship-building skills to create long-lasting impact both internally and externally
- Demonstrated ability to use technology (. Excel, PowerPoint, Word, HRIS systems) to gather, interpret, organize and present data (experience with Oracle HCM Cloud will be considered an advantage)
- Detail oriented with strong organizational analytical skills, demonstrated ability to plan, schedule and work both independently and in teams within a service-oriented organization
- Professionalism, enthusiasm, dynamism, ease of integration and teamwork complete the profile
