For our client, a leading company in its metalworking segment (manufacturing Sector)based in Lucca, we are currently seeking a HR business partner position.

Responsibilities

The figure will be responsible for the following activities:

  • Partner with managers and team leaders to understand operational needs and translate them into effective HR actions.
  • Manage recruitment, onboarding, and training processes for plant personnel.
  • Support labor relations and ensure compliance with employment laws and health & safety regulations.
  • Monitor key HR metrics relevant to the manufacturing environment (e.g., absenteeism, turnover, productivity, employee engagement).
  • Promote initiatives for continuous improvement, employee engagement, and workplace well-being.
  • Facilitate performance management and skills development processes.
  • Handle disciplinary matters and support conflict resolution.
  • Collaborate with the HSE team to ensure compliance with workplace safety standards.
  • Collaborate with international HR teams and HR Corporate on global initiatives

Your Profile

Candidates With The Following Qualifications Will Be Considered

  • Degree in Human Resources, Law, Psychology, Business Administration, or related fields.
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of HR experience, preferably in industrial or manufacturing settings.
  • Strong knowledge of labor law and union relations.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stress management skills.
  • Hands-on approach and ability to work closely with shop floor teams.
  • Good command of English.
  • Proficiency in HRIS tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
