Webuild is a leading global player in the construction of large, complex projects for sustainable mobility (rail, metro, bridges, roads, ports), hydropower (dams, power plants), water (treatment and desalination plants, wastewater management, irrigation dams) and green buildings (civil and industrial buildings, airports, stadiums, hospitals).

Webuild is looking for an HR Bidding & Start Up Expert to join our team, based in Milan or Rome, for a role coordinating HR activities related to corporate participation in tenders in Italy and abroad.

Role Description:

  • Developing staffing costs and rate calculations for expatriate and local (white and blue collar) roles in the staffing plan on the project development countries to which the tenders relate.
  • Definition, in collaboration with HRBPs, of the costs of HR Related services (Recruitment, Training, etc.) for expatriate and local (white and blue collar) roles envisaged by the staffing plan on the development countries of the projects to which the tenders refer; interface with procurement and bidding to define unit costs.
  • Participation, together with HRBPs, in meetings aimed at the development of tenders with Business Development, Bidding and other corporate functions involved based on the relevant corporate procedure.
  • JV Agreements: development with Organization and HRBPs of key HR points on Webuild side to be agreed and negotiated with associates and to be reflected in the agreements; interface with Commercial and Bidding for their implementation in the JV model; support HRBPs in analyzing and evaluating individual agreements.
  • Verify with colleagues on Bidding side, and in alignment with Organization and HRBP, the implementation of organizational and process requirements stipulated by WB in the various stages of bid development, primarily the organizational structure from organization chart and the implementation of IT systems and control processes.
  • Support the development of HR activities preparatory to the start of the project, with particular focus on:
    • Start-up master plan/checklist: definition, together with HRBP, of a roadmap with actions and ownership for the start-up of the order.
    • Monitoring and support, together with HRBP and IT, for start-up and implementation of HR information systems.
    • Support for post-awarding budget review (bid reordering for HR costs).
    • Support to HRBP in setting up and initiating general services activities.

Requirements:

  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision making skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Excellent skill in using Excel.
  • Excellent knowledge of the English language.
  • Bachelor's degree in humanities, business or related field.

Nice to have:

  • Preferable experience within multinational contexts.
  • Knowledge of key HR processes within structured contexts.
