Job Description

For our client Starhotels Hotel Helvetia & Bristol 5*L in the heart of Florence, we are looking for a Hotel Manager.

As Hotel Manager, you will be responsible for leading the effective daily operational management of the hotel services. You will supervise and coordinate the Heads of Department to drive efficiency, achieve revenue targets, and ensure guest satisfaction.

Your responsibilities include:
  1. Supporting the General Manager to drive the team and daily operations to provide memorable customer experiences and meet targets.
  2. Addressing customer concerns and fostering a service recovery culture to enhance loyalty.
  3. Assisting in developing hotel budgets and strategic goals.
  4. Providing effective leadership to the management team and staff to meet and exceed targets while maintaining high engagement.
  5. Planning and coordinating service delivery across departments to exceed guest expectations.
  6. Controlling costs and analyzing results to identify efficiencies.
  7. Holding regular briefings with the HOD team to share guidance and gather feedback.
Requirements:
  • A genuine passion for hospitality and a unique personality.
  • A degree or diploma in Hotel Management or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of proven experience in a similar role.
  • Extensive background in Food and Beverage and Room Division Management.
  • Experience managing budgets, revenue, and forecasting.
  • Knowledge of hotel property management systems (Opera preferred).
  • Strong leadership and inclusive management style.
  • Problem-solving skills and proactive attitude.
  • Excellent organizational skills and responsibility awareness.
Languages:
  • Fluent Italian
  • Fluent English
  • Additional languages are a plus.
