The successful candidate will manage various departments to ensure exceptional service and achieve company targets. Descrizione del lavoro

The Hotel Director oversees the functions of Hotel Operations onboard the vessel and is accountable for driving and maximizing positive results on all company-based targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). The Hotel Operations Department includes Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, Guest Relations, Finance, Entertainment, IT & Data Systems, Cruise Sales, and all onboard revenue-generating areas. The Hotel Director is responsible for the daily operations and performance of all departments within Hotel Operations.

Qualifications:

  1. Minimum of five years’ experience as a senior leader in a luxury (4/5*) hotel or cruise industry environment.
  2. Exceptional communication, problem-solving, decision-making, and interpersonal skills.
  3. Ability to lead with a “global” perspective in a culturally diverse and dynamic environment.
  4. Knowledge of principles and processes involved in business and organizational planning, coordination, and execution, including strategic planning, resource allocation, workforce planning and management, leadership techniques, and production methods.
  5. Knowledge of principles and processes for providing personalized services, including needs assessment, quality service standards, alternative delivery systems, and guest satisfaction evaluation techniques.
  6. Knowledge of policies and practices involved in human resources functions.
  7. Ability to lead teams positively and productively by inspiring and developing individuals and effectively managing processes.
  8. Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field from an accredited college or university, or equivalent experience.
  9. Intermediate computer software skills required.
