Job Description

Are you eager about navigating the exciting world of high-quality guest experience in the cruise business? Within our Sea-Land Experience Operations Department, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to the efficiency of our operations monitoring and analyzing the financial performance.

This role involves evaluating cost control measures, preparing financial reports, and providing recommendations to improve cost efficiency. The individual we are seeking is a smart professional with a data-driven mindset, capable of improving our governance effectiveness.

How You’ll Live Your Ambition

From our offices in Genoa, as a Hotel Controlling Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting and effective cost management, working closely with the finance and Sea-Land Experience Operations teams.

Demonstrate your passion

  1. You will chart the course of our strategy by reviewing and analyzing the financial performance of Sea-Land Experience Operations.
  2. You enjoy identifying new opportunities and uncovering blind spots. Through data and analytics, you’ll prepare and present financial reports and budget plans according to company needs and guidelines to management, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
  3. Similarly, you will be responsible for evaluating cost control measures and cost efficiency, identifying areas for improvement, and supporting the decision-making processes.

Get things right

  1. Thanks to the knowledge you will gain about our business, you’ll prepare business cases to support the company and develop cases related to CAR/Capex projects, ensuring a clear CAR process in the system and enhancing business operations.
  2. You will have the opportunity to engage with several colleagues, particularly with the finance and Sea-Land Experience Operations teams, to ensure accurate financial reporting and effective cost management.

What Makes You Unique

  1. You have gained at least 4-5 years of experience in data-driven and finance-related scenarios, which has given you proficiency in financial analysis and reporting tools.
  2. An academic background in Economics, Business Management, and Finance and Control has been your starting point.
  3. You are accustomed to handling a significant amount of data and extracting meaningful insights through data analysis tools.
  4. You possess strong analytical skills and attention to detail, knowing how to interpret and explain your findings to stakeholders.
  5. Every day, you contribute to enhancing department effectiveness through advanced competence in MS Excel. Proficiency in Power BI will be considered a plus.
  6. Embracing diversity as a global citizen, you communicate fluently in English.
  7. Teamwork comes naturally to you, as inspiring others to give their best.
