Scope of Work

: As Hostess, I will fully comprehend the vision of Six Senses to help people reconnect with themselves, others, and the world around them. As Hostess, I will assume full responsibility for the efficient operation of the following tasks:
- Greet all guests courteously and attentively.
- Manage bookings and seating arrangements for the shift.
- Escort guests to their tables, assist with seating, and present menus.
- Handle outlet telephone inquiries courteously and efficiently according to departmental standards.
- Take orders from food & beverage menus.
- Inspect menus and wine lists for condition and cleanliness.
- Work with an empathetic attitude.
- Provide prompt and efficient service as per standards.
- Prepare all mise-en-place for restaurant service before opening.
- Maintain good knowledge of all outlet menus (food and wine) and daily F&B activities.
- Know outlet opening hours.
- Be aware of menu prices and suggest upselling when appropriate.
- Keep all departmental equipment clean and in good working order.
- Adhere to Six Senses guidelines and standards of service and operation, exceeding performance benchmarks.
- Strictly follow LQA standards and guest feedback.

Qualifications: To succeed as a Hostess, candidates should have the necessary qualifications, technical skills, and experience in a similar role within luxury hotels, including:
- High school diploma or equivalent, with 1-3 years of restaurant experience in a full-service setting.
- Hospitality diploma/degree from a recognized institution (preferred).
- Alcohol awareness certification and/or food service permit or valid health/food handler card as required locally.
- Fluency in English and Italian.
- Eligibility to work in Italy (EU passport preferred).
