Ascom, based in Florence, Italy, develops software for healthcare professionals in life-critical environments. The role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining reliable software used in complex healthcare settings, with remote international support when needed.

You will work on features for healthcare software solutions, ensure quality and performance, and collaborate with Italian customers and stakeholders to deliver scalable, maintainable systems.

Competenze

• Solid experience with Microsoft C# and ASP.NET Core.
• Strong hands-on experience building and consuming REST and SOAP APIs.
• Experience working with distributed systems and system integrations.
• Understanding of software quality, performance, and maintainability.
• Ability to work across the full development lifecycle (design → delivery → support).
• Comfortable collaborating with customers and cross-functional teams.
• Experience in healthcare, medical, or highly regulated environments is a plus.

Mansioni

• Design and develop new features and modules for healthcare software solutions
• Maintain and improve existing applications with a strong focus on quality and performance
• Design, code, debug, test, and deliver clean, maintainable software
• Build reusable components to improve long‑term consistency and scalability
• Collaborate on technical documentation and knowledge sharing
• Work closely with Italian customers and stakeholders
• Provide remote support to international projects and Ascom sites when required
• Develop integrations with hospital and clinical IT systems
