Job summary

Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia (IIT) in Genoa is seeking a Risk and Special Waste Management Administrative support to assist in preparing and implementing documentation related to waste management and safety across IIT locations. You will help maintain ISO 14001 and OHSAS 45001 compliance, coordinate waste pickups, manage ADR forms, support training material creation, and assist in safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or college degree in a technical or scientific field.
• Good knowledge of written and spoken English.
• Familiarity with safety and environmental standards (Legislative Decree 81/08; 152/06; RENTRI).
• Knowledge of OHSAS 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 9001 management systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Assist with documentation for special waste management.
• Plan and manage waste pickups and related forms (ADR).
• Characterize waste and monitor deadlines.
• Support ISO 14001 environmental documentation and registers.
• Assist in risk management and safety documentation updates.
