A leading generic pharmaceutical company is looking for an experienced Medical Affairs professional to join their innovative Brands division. This role involves developing strategies, executing medical projects, and supporting sales and marketing efforts with a focus on oncology. Ideal candidates will have a biomedical degree and significant experience in the pharmaceutical industry.

Competenze

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as an MSL or Medical Manager.
  • At least 1 year of commercial experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Fluent in Italian and English.

For our dynamic growing, innovative Brands division within an already established big generic International pharmaceutical company, we are looking for an experienced Medical Affairs field professional who dares to look outside the clear-cut frames of a common big pharma MSL job and who wants to operate in an autonomous entrepreneurial way.

You will join a team of 3 Medical Managers in Italy, and you will be responsible for the Medical Affairs strategy and execution of medical projects, as well as providing Medical Affairs support to Sales and Marketing colleagues, with a demonstrable affinity for seeing commercial opportunities.

You live in Italy and are able to speak English because of communication with the European Management team. You will report to the Lead Medical Managers Europe. The European Management team is located at different places in Europe, with offices in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Responsibilities include:
  1. Development of Medical Affairs strategy and execution of scientific projects such as publications and advisory boards.
  2. Identify and develop peer-to-peer relationships with country KOLs and other influencers in the scientific and healthcare community, utilizing evidence-based information.
  3. Support business activities related to Odomzo (sonidegib) indicated for locally advanced basal cell carcinoma.
  4. Establish links with and support networks in Derma-oncology and future potential therapeutic areas.
  5. Communicate emerging data to experts and respond to healthcare professional inquiries.
  6. Assist colleagues in organizing HCP events by providing medical content support.
Qualifications:
  • Graduate or postgraduate (bio)medical/scientific degree.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an MSL or Medical Manager in the innovative pharmaceutical industry.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a commercial function within the industry.
  • Native Italian speaker and fluent in English.
Desirable:
  • Experience in Dermatology or Oncology.
  • Knowledge of dermatology or oncology.
  • Understanding of regulatory environment and compliance.
  • A positive, creative mindset to challenges.
