Your Mission

We seek a Health and Safety Technician to join our People’s team in Milan, Italy. If you thrive in a fast-paced startup, are detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about Health and Safety, Glovo is your place!

The Role

• Manage and oversee all Health and Safety matters according to Italian law.
• Inspect workplaces and develop risk assessments.
• Design and propose measures to mitigate risks and improve working conditions.
• Develop and periodically review work instructions.
• Address vulnerabilities of specific groups if any.
• Investigate occupational accidents and diseases.
• Train employees on Health and Safety topics in English.
• Manage health surveillance programs.
• Coordinate activities with external H&S providers.
• Ensure compliance with H&S requirements across locations.
• Advise stakeholders on Health and Safety issues.
• Participate in drafting internal regulations and safety instructions.
• Support labor inspections with documentation.

What You Bring

• Higher education and postgraduate qualification in Occupational Health and Safety.
• Ability to work in a dynamic startup environment and with management at all levels.
• Comfort with ambiguity, organized, proactive, and creative.
• Hands-on mindset and customer service orientation.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office / Google Sheets.
• Fluency in English and Italian (spoken and written).
