TransferRoom is market leading and has become a must have for key stakeholders in football’s transfer market. It’s used by 700 clubs, including Man City, Liverpool and PSG, 400 agencies and 8000 professional players. It has empowered clubs and agents to facilitate over 4,000 transfers since launch in 2017.

  • Brief intro to the role

As the Head of Sales for Southern Europe at TransferRoom, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth through new business acquisition and customer expansion / upgrades within the region. Leveraging your deep understanding of the football industry and B2B sales expertise, you will lead a dynamic team and develop strategies to capitalize on market opportunities, strengthen client relationships, and maximize sales performance

  • What you’ll be doing
  • New business : Develop and execute sales strategies tailored to the Southern European market to achieve revenue targets. Lead the sales team in prospecting, pitching, and closing deals
  • Customer expansion : Develop and execute strategies to drive upselling and increase revenue from existing clients. Collaborate with CS to identify expansion opportunities
  • Team leadership : Lead and mentor the sales team in Southern Europe, providing guidance and support to drive performance fostering a culture of accountability and success. Set clear objectives, monitor performance, and provide constructive feedback to drive success
  • Relation management : Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders to enhance TransferRoom’s presence and reputation in the Southern European market. Travel within the region to meet with key customers and stakeholders and represent TransferRoom at industry events
  • Team collaboration : Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and support for sales efforts in the Southern European market
  • Market analysis & strategy : Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics in the Southern European region. Utilize market insights to refine sales strategies and identify growth areas
  • Who you are
  • Previous B2B SaaS experience in sales management roles covering new business development and customer expansion in the Southern European market
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth, achieving sales targets incl. upsell revenue
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams
  • Profile likely working in a larger company with Southern Europe as the focus region
  • Willingness to travel frequently within the Southern European region to meet with key customers
  • Highly motivated and results-driven
  • Understanding of the football industry and with existing club and agent network
  • Strategic mindset and ability to develop effective sales strategies
  • Proficiency in English and Italian or Spanish
