Head of Sales, Italy - Digital Health & AI

We have developed a state-of-the-art platform, utilising Artificial Intelligence, that facilitates the continuum of care and fosters research programs focused on innovative therapies.
Through our platform:
- Healthcare professionals gain access to precise information on the evolution of their patients' health, enabling them to prioritize those with the greatest need, reducing waiting lists, and minimizing the need for in-person consultations, ultimately saving time and resources.
- Patients can communicate information about potential treatment side effects or their overall quality of life, exchange documents with their medical team, educate themselves about their disease or treatment, and access digital support services.
Our goal is to democratize the use of remote monitoring and establish it as the new standard of care across Europe.
About the Position
The company currently works with more than 100 healthcare facilities and has monitored over 10,000 patients to date. With plans for expansion across Western Europe, we have already established our presence in Western Europe and launched our first partnership in Milan, Italy. Our next step is to collaborate with more hospitals—both public and private—across Italy.
As such, we are looking for a Head of Sales to lead our efforts in the Italian market.
Reporting directly to senior management, your responsibilities will include:
- New Business Development: Reach out to potential prospects in Italy, lead conversations with healthcare facilities interested in adopting our platform, present the platform, and conduct product demos professionally.
- Account Management: Manage relationships with existing healthcare partners, guide them through contract signing and onboarding (remotely or on-site), and ensure sustained engagement through training, site visits, and ongoing support.
- Network Expansion: Strengthen and grow our network of experts in Italy, focusing on institutional figures involved in digital health development.
- Product Collaboration: Collaborate with the product team to ensure the platform meets Italian partners' needs, gather user feedback, and contribute to product development.
- Research and Proposal Writing: Assist in responding to RFPs or grant applications and support research projects.

About the Candidate
- 5 to 10 years of experience in business development or sales within healthcare or pharmaceutical industries. Experience in Software as a Medical Device is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of the Italian healthcare system and procurement processes (e.g., MePA, SINTEL).
- Experience in oncology, or a background as a medical doctor, pharmacist, or similar scientific qualification is advantageous.
- Proven success in fast-growing companies with an autonomous and entrepreneurial mindset.
- Willingness to travel across Italy is essential.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging stakeholders and presenting at conferences.
- Native Italian speaker with good English proficiency; French is a plus.
