Position Available: Head of Sales - BESS Components

About the Role

Taylor Hopkinson is seeking a Head of Sales for one of the leading suppliers of components for BESS. This role involves defining and implementing the commercial strategy for the Italian market, identifying new business opportunities, and expanding the customer portfolio, focusing on EPCs, developers, and distributors.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and execute the commercial strategy aligned with company objectives.
  2. Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the sector.
  3. Manage relationships with strategic clients, ensuring high satisfaction and loyalty.
  4. Monitor market trends, competition, and industry developments, providing analysis and reports to management.
Candidate Requirements
  1. Degree in technical, economic disciplines, or equivalent; engineering background is a plus.
  2. 7-10 years of proven sales experience in the photovoltaic sector, preferably with a focus on modules.
  3. Solid understanding of the Italian BESS market and supply chain (EPCs, developers, installers, distributors).
  4. Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
  5. Results-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and under pressure.
  6. Fluent in Italian and English (mandatory).
