One of our clients is an investment group that has recently acquired a company in the chemistry space: a privately-owned Italian contract developer & manufacturer (CDMO) with over 30 years of experience in complex, small-volume APIs.
Company Overview
- Milan headquarters; approximately 50 global customers across Europe, Japan, China, and the Americas, with a reputation for meeting EMA, PMDA, and (soon) FDA standards.
- New owners have funded a program to triple manufacturing capacity via a refurbished site and new reactors set to come online in 18 months.
- The commercial upside is largely untapped: currently, 75% of sales are through brokers, and there is no dedicated Business Development team.
About You
You will design, build, and run the engine that transforms technical excellence into double-digit revenue growth.
- 7+ years of experience closing complex B2B deals in APIs, CDMO services, or specialty chemicals.
- Personal network within mid- to big-pharma sourcing & procurement; proven record of €3-10M+ contract wins.
- Fluent in English; Italian is a plus but not mandatory.
- Builder’s mindset: this is your opportunity to become part of the leadership team.
