As Head of Permitting, you will play a crucial role overseeing the permitting process for renewable energy projects including solar and battery storage across Italy. You will ensure that projects comply with all national, regional, and local regulations and you will be the company's representative for interactions with government authorities, environmental agencies, and internal project teams to secure necessary permits and drive project timelines.
More than 5 years of experience in permitting, regulatory compliance, or a related role within the renewable energy or construction sector. Demonstrable experience managing permitting processes for renewable energy projects in Italy, with a strong understanding of the local regulatory landscape. Proven track record in obtaining permits for large-scale projects, including experience with Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs) and other critical documentation. Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities. Fluency in both Italian and English, with excellent communication skills in both languages to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders. Knowledge of the Spanish language is a plus.
