About the Opportunity:

Our client is a high-growth, tech-enabled B2B travel management company, operating at the forefront of digital transformation within the travel sector. Following significant investment from a leading private equity firm, the business is embarking on the next phase of its international expansion, aiming to become a global leader and technology pioneer within its $1 trillion market by 2030.

To support this journey, they are seeking a strategic Head of People to develop and scale the People function across Europe and beyond.

The role:

Reporting directly to the Chief Business Officer (CBO), the Head of People will oversee talent acquisition, development, engagement, and retention across 8 geographies in EMEA. Key responsibilities include:

  • Implementing job levelling systems, performance reviews, and people-centric processes.
  • Optimising talent acquisition to support team growth.
  • Leading leadership development initiatives across multiple offices.
  • Aligning HR processes with company objectives in a fast-scaling environment.

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Job Levelling & Performance Reviews: Lead the implementation of job levelling and performance management frameworks aligned with business and employee development.
  • Talent Acquisition & Onboarding: Enhance hiring processes and onboarding to support rapid scaling and seamless integration.
  • Leadership Development: Collaborate with senior leadership to design programs supporting management growth.
  • Employee Relations: Provide guidance on employee relations and ensure compliance with employment laws.
  • People Metrics: Develop data-driven metrics to improve HR practices and business outcomes.
  • Systems: Use HR and payroll systems to coordinate multi-country operations effectively.
About You:
  • Proven experience as a Head of People in a scalable, international business.
  • Experience in scale-ups (200-1,000 employees) and PE-backed environments.
  • Expertise in implementing HR systems supporting organizational growth.
  • Strong talent acquisition strategies and metrics experience.
  • Leadership development support in fast-growth settings.
  • Ability to align HR strategies with company goals at senior levels.
  • Knowledge of employment law across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Familiarity with HR/payroll systems across countries.
