Descrizione del lavoro

To lead our Italian Operations team, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head of Operations. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in managing and optimizing our operations to support continued business growth.

In this role, you will lead the Operations department and be a member of our Country Management team, collaborating with senior leaders to deliver long-term business strategies.

What is your role?

  1. Develop and implement multi-year plans for operations, anticipating challenges and opportunities, and ensuring alignment with the company's strategy.
  2. Lead teams and oversee operational activities, maintaining excellent relationships with internal clients.
  3. Manage and report on the performance of approximately 70 team members, including 5 direct reports.
  4. Ensure compliance with HSE legislation and promote a safety-first culture.
  5. Oversee transportation processes to ensure customer satisfaction, minimize costs, and optimize delivery times.
  6. Manage site maintenance, statutory compliance, and the upkeep of the building and grounds.

Who are you?

  • Proven success in managing logistics functions.
  • Experience in facilities management and transportation.
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and compliance requirements.
  • Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze data, monitor KPIs, and drive performance.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to make quick, informed decisions.
  • Excellent business English skills (B2 / C1 level).
