To lead our Italian Operations team, we are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Head of Operations. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in managing and optimizing our operations to support continued business growth.

Not only will you be leading the Operations department, but you will also be a member of our Country Management team, working with senior leaders on delivering long-term business strategies.

If you possess strong leadership skills, a sharp focus on efficiency, and experience in operations management, this could be the right challenge for you!

What is your role?
  1. Lead the development and implementation of multi-year plans for this critical area, anticipating complex issues, challenges, and opportunities, ensuring alignment with the company strategy.
  2. Lead teams, oversee operational activities, and foster excellent partnerships with internal clients.
  3. Manage and report on the performance of a diverse team of about 70 people (permanent and temporary), including 5 direct reports.
  4. Ensure compliance with HSE legislation and promote a safety-first culture on-site.
  5. Oversee transportation processes to ensure customer satisfaction, minimize costs, and optimize delivery times.
  6. Supervise site maintenance, statutory compliance, and the general upkeep of the building and grounds.
Who are you?
  • Proven success in managing logistics functions.
  • Experience in facilities management and transportation.
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation, safe systems, and compliance requirements.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with excellent communication abilities.
  • Ability to analyze data, monitor KPIs, and drive performance.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the capacity to make quick, informed decisions.
  • Excellent business English skills (B2 / C1 level).
