About the Role

We are looking for a Head of Operations, who will be the driving force behind our operational efficiency, ensuring that metrics, processes, and workflows are aligned across teams. This is a key role in scaling the business, working closely with the Customer Support & Collection, Risk & Fraud, Compliance, Sales, and Account Management teams (among others) to ensure the flawless execution of our operational strategies.

Your responsibilities will include:
  1. Defining, monitoring, and optimizing operational metrics to ensure efficiency and service quality.
  2. Coordinating operational teams to ensure smooth processes, reducing inefficiencies, and improving the user experience.
  3. Collaborating with Product & Tech to automate processes and enhance operational infrastructure.
  4. Supporting scalability strategies by structuring and improving operations.
  5. Managing operational reporting for senior management, highlighting trends and areas for improvement.
  6. Establishing a high-performance framework, fostering a data-driven culture and continuous optimization.
  7. Managing and supporting the growth of a team of Analysts.
Candidate Profile

You’re a great fit if you have:

  1. 5-7 years of experience in Operations, process improvement, or Strategy roles within tech, fintech, or BNPL companies.
  2. Strong analytical and data-driven mindset: ability to read metrics, make strategic decisions based on data, and optimize KPIs.
  3. A startup/scale-up background is a plus: we need someone who knows how to build and scale processes.
  4. Knowledge of process automation, workflow management, and CRM tools.
  5. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
  6. A hands-on mentality: you’re comfortable handling both strategy and execution.
  7. Experience managing cross-functional operational teams.
  8. Fluent English (willing to learn Italian).
  9. Willing to relocate to Italy - Milan.
