About the Role
We are looking for a Head of Operations, who will be the driving force behind our operational efficiency, ensuring that metrics, processes, and workflows are aligned across teams. This is a key role in scaling the business, working closely with the Customer Support & Collection, Risk & Fraud, Compliance, Sales, and Account Management teams (among others) to ensure the flawless execution of our operational strategies.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Defining, monitoring, and optimizing operational metrics to ensure efficiency and service quality.
- Coordinating operational teams to ensure smooth processes, reducing inefficiencies, and improving the user experience.
- Collaborating with Product & Tech to automate processes and enhance operational infrastructure.
- Supporting scalability strategies by structuring and improving operations.
- Managing operational reporting for senior management, highlighting trends and areas for improvement.
- Establishing a high-performance framework, fostering a data-driven culture and continuous optimization.
- Managing and supporting the growth of a team of Analysts.
Candidate Profile
You’re a great fit if you have:
- 5-7 years of experience in Operations, process improvement, or Strategy roles within tech, fintech, or BNPL companies.
- Strong analytical and data-driven mindset: ability to read metrics, make strategic decisions based on data, and optimize KPIs.
- A startup/scale-up background is a plus: we need someone who knows how to build and scale processes.
- Knowledge of process automation, workflow management, and CRM tools.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
- A hands-on mentality: you’re comfortable handling both strategy and execution.
- Experience managing cross-functional operational teams.
- Fluent English (willing to learn Italian).
- Willing to relocate to Italy - Milan.
