Carrefour - Head of Media and Communication

Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, we are seeking a highly qualified Head of Media and Communication to join our team. This role is primarily responsible for Media Strategy and Planning, creating and implementing Advertising Campaigns, Social Media Strategy, Content Creation (ATL / BTL), post-campaign evaluation, and managing relationships with media agencies and main media partners.

What do we expect from you?

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Marketing Media and Communication roles, preferably in CPG / FMCG or Retail.
  • Deep understanding of Digital Media, Brand Management, Strategic Messaging, and Digital Marketing (SEO, SEM, Performance Marketing, Social Media, and emerging digital trends).
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Proven project management skills with the ability to lead and deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Passion for engaging consumers and businesses.
  • Collaborative, team-oriented, with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Empowered to make bold decisions and take a stand when necessary.

What will you do?

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive communication strategy aligned with business objectives.
  • Manage the Communications Department, including staff, budget, and resources.
  • Adapt strategic plans based on competitive and complex environments.
  • Oversee the production of high-quality communication content.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns, using data to improve efforts.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with media partners.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams, including Insight and Trade Marketing.
  • Establish objectives, metrics, and strategies to achieve divisional goals.
  • Work with other departments to create data-driven communication plans.
  • Advise senior leadership on media and communication strategies.
