Head of IT

We are looking for a highly experienced Head of IT to lead the overall technology strategy and operations of our organization. This role is suited for a senior professional who combines strong leadership skills with deep technical knowledge and a proven ability to manage complex IT environments at scale.

As Head of IT, you will be responsible for shaping and executing the company’s technology vision, ensuring that IT systems are secure, efficient, and aligned with business objectives. You will oversee infrastructure, cybersecurity, service delivery, and vendor management, while also driving innovation and continuous improvement across the IT landscape.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and implement the IT strategy in alignment with corporate objectives.
• Lead and manage IT operations, infrastructure, and systems across the organization.
• Ensure information security, data protection, and business continuity.
• Establish and monitor IT governance, policies, and compliance standards.
• Manage budgets, resources, and IT investment planning.
• Lead relationships with external technology partners and service providers.
• Support digital transformation initiatives and continuous improvement of business processes.
• Provide regular reporting and strategic guidance to senior leadership.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, with at least 3 years in a senior management role.
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud services, cybersecurity, and enterprise applications.
• Proven experience in vendor management, contract negotiation, and third-party oversight.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage budgets, and deliver complex projects.
• Solid understanding of IT risk management and business continuity planning.
• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent English (both written and spoken); additional languages are a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Professional certifications such as ITIL, CISSP, or CISA.
• Experience in multinational or highly regulated environments.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and modern DevOps practices.
