We are seeking an HR Advisor to support the Rotterdam office of Hillebrand Gori, a DHL Global Forwarding company, managing HR processes across our Dutch and Belgian offices, which employ 50 people. You will report to the Regional HR and be part of the larger international Group HR community.
  • Job Purpose
  • To drive and manage the HR function for the country, ensuring alignment with divisional HR strategy, and supporting the organization’s resource needs by attracting, developing, and retaining capable talent to meet current and future business objectives in line with local legal requirements and industry best practices.
  • Differentiator
  • Lead the HR function or multiple sub-functions at the country level. Establish and implement strategies with long-term (5+ years) impact on business results, aligned with global objectives and directly influencing the organization’s business strategy.
  • Key Tasks
  • Contribute to divisional HR strategy and initiatives aligned with business goals, considering market trends, economic and political climate, and key opportunities and risks. Set functional priorities to support business goals and influence strategic direction, ensuring HR services support business performance. Build and develop the HR team and processes across areas such as sourcing, compensation & benefits, talent management, learning & development, HR administration, and change management. Act as a trusted advisor to the business, partnering with management teams. Monitor the deployment of HR strategic plans and achieve sub-functional goals to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Anticipate and resolve risks or issues to ensure successful HR strategy implementation.
  • Stakeholders
  • Negotiate agreements and contracts with other departments and third parties. Develop strong relationships with senior leaders and partner organizations. Influence internally and externally as a recognized thought leader, promoting cooperation and partnership to provide integrated solutions.
  • Management Responsibility
  • Lead the HR function, ensuring effective talent selection, organization, and leadership. Manage personnel, business strategy, strategic direction, consulting, coaching, change management, business processes, project management, stakeholder management, influencing, presentation, facilitation, negotiation, and people management.
  • Qualifications & Key Requirements
  • Master's degree, HR or Labor Law certification, over 5 years of experience, prior experience partnering with senior management at a multi-country or complex environment, team leadership experience with small to medium teams, and budget management experience.
