We are seeking a Head of Finance to join our team and drive our financial strategy across multiple markets.

Responsibilities

1. Develop and lead the financial strategy, ensuring alignment with global objectives and compliance across jurisdictions.
2. Drive financial planning, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
3. Ensure accurate financial reporting following Italian GAAP and IFRS.
4. Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, maintaining internal controls.
5. Provide performance reports, dashboards, KPIs, and variance analysis to leadership.
6. Ensure compliance with taxation, labor laws, and corporate governance internationally.
7. Identify and mitigate financial risks to safeguard the company's financial integrity.
8. Collaborate with auditors for financial oversight.
9. Manage treasury operations, cash flow, liquidity, foreign exchange risk, and financing negotiations.
10. Maintain relationships with banks, investors, and authorities.
11. Lead and develop a finance team of 8 in Italy, fostering best practices and a collaborative international mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related; MBA, CPA preferred.
• 8+ years of relevant finance experience, including 3+ years in leadership.
• Experience in international finance, cross-border operations, and tax laws.
• Strong knowledge of Italian GAAP and IFRS.
• Experience with financial planning, analysis, and reporting in a multinational context.
• Proficiency with financial systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Fluent in Italian and English.

• Experience in large-scale project management.

• International work experience outside Italy.
