OMRON Healthcare is a global leader in medical technology dedicated to advancing health through innovation. To support our growth and regional development, we are hiring a Head of Commercial Business to lead our commercial team across Italy, Spain, Portugal, and Greece.
About the role:
In this senior position, you will execute the EMEA strategy at a regional level, ensuring it results in measurable commercial success. You will lead all commercial initiatives, drive operational excellence, and deliver strong financial results. Additionally, you will act as a key liaison between local markets and the EMEA headquarters, fostering growth through leadership and collaboration.
The role can be based remotely or at the OMRON office in Milan, Italy.

Key activities:
- Plan the annual budget, manage revenue and expenses, and oversee financial results to ensure profitability and growth.
- Build and maintain relationships with major customers and professional bodies; represent OMRON at external events to increase brand awareness and gather market intelligence.
- Manage and develop sales and trade marketing teams; oversee all related activities within the region, including regional P&L responsibility.
- Negotiate, oversee, and control the regional sales budget to meet sales and gross profit targets.
- Manage legal frameworks governing client relationships.
- Lead a small team of two professionals.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and maintain strong relationships with clients.
- Identify and develop innovative business opportunities and collaborations for sustainable growth.
Ideal candidate profile:
- Master’s or bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in healthcare, FMCG, OTC sales, pharmaceuticals, or related sectors.
- At least 3 years of leadership experience managing sales teams.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and influencing skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with strategic thinking and hands-on execution ability.
- Experience in distributor or key account management.
- Proficiency in English and the local language, both written and verbal.
- Experience in Digital Healthcare is a plus.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
- Valid driver’s license.
Note: A valid work permit for Milan is required for this position.
