The Business Relationship Management Team is responsible for maintaining relationships with current clients and expanding business opportunities with institutions, financial advisors, banks, asset managers, and distribution platforms. Within the Team, there are the RFP Team and Client Services Team. The RFP Team focuses on preliminary stages and prospect clients, while the Client Services Team is dedicated to existing clients, guiding them through all phases from onboarding onwards, acting as a point of reference for both clients and sales.

The Head of Client Services, in collaboration with the Sales Team, ensures high-quality service to clients, linking them to GI multi-affiliate solutions.

The ideal candidate will lead the Client Services Team and perform the following activities:

  • Oversee all aspects of Client Management and Service Delivery across the business sector, including institutional accounts such as Financial Sector Professionals and Pension Funds, as well as Retail Distribution Networks.
  • Adhere to internal workflow processes, systems, and structures to ensure effective support services by coordinating with colleagues in Italy, France, or Germany.

Specific tasks include:

  • Inputting, analyzing, and disseminating data.
  • Managing daily tasks relevant to the Client Relationship Management Section, including assisting with client-related business projects such as onboarding, offboarding, distribution agreements, IMAs, advisory and SLAs negotiation/execution, and participating in internal panels or forums, as well as external meetings.
  • Acting as a key contact and interface between the sales team and clients.
  • Using CRM systems with bespoke IT applications.
  • Producing regular and ad-hoc management information reports using the internal reporting system.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree.
  • Extensive experience in asset management is required.
  • Team management experience. Skilled in utilizing IT systems with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel spreadsheets. Additionally, expertise in PowerPoint is crucial as it enhances the ability to create impactful presentations.
  • High standard of English and general education (knowledge of another EU language is a plus).
  • Ability to create, maintain and promote a productive and supportive relationship with all stakeholders.
  • Adaptable to flexibility and change.
  • Excellent organizational, planning, writing and communication skills.
  • A commitment to maintaining accuracy, clarity and quality of work.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Experience of working with senior management.
  • Commercial awareness: self-motivated, pro-active and intuitive.
  • Confidence in operating within a client-facing environment.
