We are looking for a service-oriented Head Hostess to join our pre-opening team.

Conveniently located adjacent to Rome Termini Station and a short distance from the Colosseum, the 238-room Hyatt Regency Rome Central is a contemporary 5-star hotel offering premium business services and one of Italy’s most dazzling leisure rooftop experiences.

The hotel is also featuring a SPA, 5 food & beverages outlets and more than 1000 sqm events venues.

Key responsibilities

Responsible for greeting, seating, cloakroom and farewell at our Restaurants & Bars

Managing online Reservation system

Handling enquiry and reservations, by email and phone calls

Observe and maintain the daily condition of all physical facilities and equipment in the, public areas and make recommendations for corrections and improvement as needed.

Responsible to daily take-out orders

Responsible for cash handling

Coordinating Hostess’s team

Staying one step ahead of our guests’ needs to anticipate requests and offer tailored recommendations

Understand all food and beverage items ordered, including ingredients, methods of preparation, food allergies and intolerance

Usage of the POS system (Simphony).

Skills and requirements

Experience of 2 years or more in similar role in a high-end environment

Excellent grooming standard

Friendly and positive with a flexible approach and confidence

Good communication skills and genuine approach with our guests

Good problem-solving skills that will turn issues into opportunities

Fluency in Italian & English language
