Head Bartender

We are seeking an experienced Head Bartender to join our team at Soho House Rome. As a Head Bartender with Soho House, your role is to ensure that our members have an exceptional experience every time. Possessing natural hospitality charm, we will provide a platform for you to connect, grow, have fun, and make an impact. Your main responsibilities include serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, food (when needed), and delivering excellent service to members, creating memorable experiences. Additional duties involve mixing cocktails, preparing the bar for service, and maintaining its pristine condition.

Responsibilities

• Follow the steps of service and company guidelines for preparing cocktails, juices, and drinks at the bar.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area; collaborate with other bartenders to wash glassware and utensils after each use, and clean up after customers.
• Educate guests and members about beverage options through House Tonic trainings.
• Discuss and describe daily specials, seasonal menu items, and food pairing options to promote additional sales and enhance the dining experience.
• Handle payment transactions for all sold items and operate the cash register.
• Arrange bottles and glasses to create attractive displays that promote specific beverage options and increase sales and member satisfaction.
• Serve customers in a friendly and helpful manner.
• Monitor and maintain inventory of supplies; delegate replenishment to Barbacks as needed.
• Mix ingredients according to drink recipes to ensure a consistent and globally unified beverage program.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.
