BU Grid Integration, HBU Europe is looking for a Risk Manager to lead the Risk Management and Risk Review process in strong collaboration with Sales & Tendering, HBU Europe Management, and the Risk Management Function of Grid Integration.

The Risk Manager will ensure that all risks related to customer offers of HBU Europe are identified, assessed, responded to, and mitigated. The HBU Risk Manager will represent HBU Europe in Risk Reviews and be a member of the HBU Europe Controlling & Risk Management organization.

The role's location is flexible, ideally colocated with major HE locations in Europe.

How you’ll make an impact

1. Ensure that each tender has identified and assessed risks, with mitigation actions defined, liabilities appraised, and profitability confirmed based on the standard Full Cost Model.
2. Review and validate offers prepared by the Sales team during the Risk Review process to ensure compliance with Group / Company / BU directives and instructions.
3. Attend and lead Risk Reviews with representatives from HBU, GPG, BU, and/or the Company as per approval levels.
4. Ensure the Risk Review Tool is updated timely by the Tendering Team before the Risk Review meeting and after, with agreed MoM/actions.
5. Prepare summaries of main contractual aspects and circulate them to Risk Review participants.
6. Provide training and guidance on Risk Management to the Grid Integration HBU Europe organization.
7. Actively participate in the HBU team with the goal of establishing a state-of-the-art Risk Management process for HBU Europe BU Grid Integration.

Your background:

• Fluent in English (oral and written); additional languages are advantageous.
• Experience in Risk Management, Sales, Tendering, Project Management, or Contract Management.
• Experience in project business within an international company, dealing with customers.
• Self-driven with a focus on risk mitigation and process compliance; capable of providing senior expert advice on key issues.
• Ability to give consistent feedback on Risk Management performance, focusing on process improvements.
• Skilled in providing training to enhance process and tool knowledge and increasing risk awareness within the organization.
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with global teams and leadership.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and a process-oriented approach.
