A leading Italian technology company in Rome is seeking a Hardware Engineer (DO-254) to provide technical support for the certification process within the aerospace and defense sector. Responsibilities include defining system certifiability strategy, managing compliance with DO-254 requirements, and handling artefact configuration. Ideal candidates possess a master's degree in electronic or aerospace engineering, experience with DO-254 certification projects, and fluency in Italian and English.

Competenze

• Master's degree in Electronic Engineering, Aerospace engineering or similar.
• Previous experience in DO-254 certification projects.
• Familiarity with electronic design tools.
• Good knowledge of DO-254 certification processes.
• Experience in designing electrical diagrams.
• Knowledge of measuring instruments.
• Experience in testing and debugging electronic boards.
• Knowledge of PCB design, Power Integrity, and Signal Integrity.
• Knowledge of FPGA devices.

Responsibilities

• Technical support for DO-254 (HW) certification process of AAU.
• Definition and consolidation of strategy for system certifiability.
• Identification of components, or subsystems, in accordance with DO-254 requirements.
• Harmonization of safety needs with system needs.
• Management of artefact configuration (according to regulatory requirements).

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electronic Engineering, Aerospace engineering or similar.
• Previous experience in DO-254 certification projects.
• Familiarity with electronic design tools.
• Good knowledge of DO-254 certification processes.
• Experience in designing electrical diagrams.
