JOB MISSION

Are you ready to make a meaningful impact? We’re looking for a passionate Product Manager for the Asian market, eager to help grow our Hair Care Global Marketing Division while upholding our core values of beauty, ethics, and sustainability.

As our Product Manager, you will contribute to ensuring the competitiveness of our Davines brands in Asia—with focus on China, Japan, and Korea. This role will support the Category Lead in key activities related to the deployment of our lines in Asia to ensure its success. This role is ideal for someone with 2–3 years of experience in product management or brand marketing, with a strong passion for consumer insights, innovation, and communication development tailored to regional market needs.

As Product Manager, you will play a key role in driving product performance and brand resonance across priority Asian markets. You will support end-to-end product development and localization of communication strategies, working closely with cross-functional teams including R&D & communication and with local market teams.

What You Will Do

  • Regional Strategy Support

Contribute to the development of product strategy and innovation pipeline tailored to consumer needs in Asia (e.g., China, Japan, Korea, Southeast Asia).

  • Product Development

Support cross-functional teams in developing and launching new products – from concept, formulation, packaging, and pricing, to go-to-market planning.

  • Communication Development

Develop and adapt communication assets and toolkits for Asian markets, ensuring cultural relevance and consistency with global brand positioning. Coordinate with internal teams and agencies to create compelling product messaging and storytelling.

  • Market & Consumer Insights

Analyze consumer trends, market data, and category performance in Asian markets to inform product and communication strategies.

  • Lifecycle Management

Track product performance and KPIs (sell-in/sell-out), providing recommendations for ongoing optimization and support.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration

Liaise with global and local marketing teams, sales, and distribution partners to ensure seamless execution of product and communication plans.

  • Project Management

Manage timelines, track deliverables, and ensure alignment across internal and external stakeholders.

  • Strategic Planning & Business Development

Support the Category Lead in shaping an Asia-focused strategy, defining business potential for new initiatives, managing brand-related budgets, and delivering compelling presentations to secure project approvals.

  • Product & Marketing Development

Leading the creation of product briefs and manage cross-functional product development, ensuring alignment on formulation, packaging, and production. Defining the marketing mix—including value proposition, pricing, and key claims—and develop all associated marketing materials.

  • Market & Performance Analysis

Collaborating with the Asia team to produce effective communication assets, analyse customer insights, competitive landscape, and sales forecasts to inform strategy and ensure strong market positioning.

Who You Are

  • 2–3 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably within the beauty or professional hair industry.
  • Educational background in Marketing, Economics, or related fields (Bachelor’s or Master’s degree).
  • Proven experience in product development, cross-functional coordination, and Go-to-Market processes.
  • Cultural sensitivity and exposure to Asian markets (e.g. China, Korea, Japan, Southeast Asia) with a passion for purpose-led innovation.
  • Strong marketing capabilities, including brand management, digital marketing (especially in Asia/China), and communication material adaptation.
  • Analytical mindset with business acumen, strong storytelling skills, and the ability to interpret insights and performance data.
  • Excellent project and relationship management, with a collaborative and proactive approach, even in ambiguous situations.
  • Language skills: fluency in English and knowledge of Mandarin; conversational Italian is a plus.
  • Mobility and flexibility, available for frequent and extended travel across key Asian markets.
  • Driven personality with hands-on attitude, resilience, determination, and a strong focus on results and ownership.
