A leading tech company is seeking a Hadoop Administrator in Italy. You will be responsible for installing and maintaining Hadoop clusters in a Linux environment, managing deployments, and collaborating with developers on big data applications. Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience, strong Linux skills, and familiarity with HDFS and related technologies. Experience in Financial Services is a plus.

Competenze

• At least 3 years of experience in Hadoop administration.
• Good understanding of system capacity and bottlenecks.
• Experience in Financial Services is preferred.

Mansioni

• Install, configure, and maintain Hadoop clusters in a Linux environment.

Job Description:
DXC Technology is looking for Hadoop Administrator to join Analytics offering.
Responsibility
* Install, configure and maintain Hadoop clusters/ecosystem in Linux environment to ensure high availability, optimal performance and security.
* Deploy, manage and monitor Hadoop clusters using Cloudera Manager or Apache Ambari or Ganglia Nagios.
* Monitor connectivity and security. Maintain HDFS and providing necessary supports.
* Work closely with database, network and software developers to support data processing and big data applications.
Requirement
* At least 3 Y experience in the role.
* Strong Linux system administration skills and knowledge of HDFS, YARN, MapReduce, Hive, Pig.
* Good troubleshooting skills, understanding of system's capacity and bottlenecks.
* Previous experience on Financial Services will be considered preferable.
